The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, February 2, 1890 pg. 1 The Gazetteer editor was somewhat surprised one day last week to meet upon Main Street Mr. A.M. Crow, of Sherman, whose death near Pottsboro he had announced in these columns some two weeks previous. The substantial pressure of the hand, which grasped the journalistic palm, quickly convinced him that the apparition was real flesh and blood, and the explanation he demanded was readily given. The Crow who died at Pottsboro was Mr. A.M. Crow's brother, and the Gazetteer was simply mistaken in the initials. We make this explanation that readers of the Gazetteer, who may meet Mr. Crow may not take him for a wandering ghost.
