Thursday, February 1, 1917 pg. 5 Gordonville, January 29 - James Redrick [sic] of Elmore City, Oklahoma, who came to this community a few weeks ago to the bedside of his mother-in-law, Mrs. McConnell, south of here, who was seriously ill at the time, died last Monday evening in the McConnell home. Mr. Redrick recently had an attack of typhoid fever from which he had not fully recovered. He became ill again after reaching here with the fatal results just mentioned. Mr. Redrick was well known to our people and his death causes general regret among his many friends. His wife, formerly Miss May McConnell of this community and four children comprise the family surviving him.
