OLD SECTION Section #1 Lottie Frances Mosier 22 March 1906 - 30 September 1994 Sam David Mosier 3 August 1908 - 1 December 1950 wed 5 September 1926 LOTTIE MOSIER Pottsboro - Funeral services for Lottie Francis Cook Mosier, 88, who died Sept. 30, 1994, in Texoma Medical Center , will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Johnson-Moore Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Frank Bauman will officiate. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery. Mrs. Mosier was born March 22, 1906, in Meridian County, Texas, daughter of James and Nora Flippens Cook. She married Sam Mosier on Sept. 5, 1926, in Gordonville. She was a homemaker and a member of Willow Springs Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters : Nola Maxwell of Gilmer, Texas and Jean McAlister of Dumas, Texas; a brother, J.W. Cook of Lamar, Miss.; four sisters : Florence Clountz, Dadie Cook, Fannie Perdue, and Jessie Travis, all of Pottsboro; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today. The Denison Press Friday, December 8, 1950 DEATHS SAMUEL DAVID MOSIER Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Georgetown Cemtery for Samuel David Mosier, 42-year-old Pottsboro resident, who died Friday, December 1, in the Veterans Administration Hospital in McKinney. Bratcher-Moore, funeral directors, were in charge of arrangements. Mr. Mosier was born in Pottsboro August 3, 1908, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jodie Mosier, and had resided all of his life in the Pottsboro community. He received his education in Pottsboro, and was married in Gordonville in 1926 to Miss Lottie Moon. He was a member of the Church of Christ and the American Legion. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the 723 Air Material Squadron. Mr. Mosier was fatally injured on November 20 when a truck he was driving on the Pottsboro road struck a tree. Survivors include his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Nona Johnson and Mrs. Jean McAlister, both of Pottsboro; a sister, also of Pottsboro, and five grandchildren.
