A.D. "Duke" Lewis
(1918 - 2012)
A.D. "Duke" Lewis, 94, entered into eternal life Friday, Dec. 7, 2012 at
Homestead of Denison.
Mr. Lewis was born June 10, 1918 in Denison,
the son of Aaron Grover and Molly (Shires) Lewis. He served his country proudly
as a seargent in the U.S. Air Force. A.D. married the love of his life, Floy
Burden in Durant, Okla. For many years he worked for Safeway.
A.D. loved being with family and friends. He was a loving and caring father,
grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all who knew
and loved him.

Lewis is survived by his beloved family, daughter, Sharon Anderson and husband,
Royce of Denison; granddaughters, Leah Stowers and husband, Stan of Denison, Angie Tol and Robert Tol of Denison; grandson, Russell
Anderson and fianc Ashley Wilkerson of Pottsboro; great-grandsons, Justin
Stowers and fianc Caitlin Ward, Skeet Tol, Dakota Stowers; and
great-granddaughter Caitlyn Stowers, all of Denison; and son-in-law, Dale
Miller of Denison. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Floy Lewis,
daughter, Barbara Miller, parents, Grover and Molly Lewis and sister, Mildred
Mauk.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2012 at Georgetown Cemetery
with Pastor Jerry Coffman officiating. Family visitation will be held from 2 -4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 at Fisher Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Robert Tol, Russell Anderson, Skeet Tol,
Justin Stowers, Dakota Stowers and Stan Stowers.
