Lee 2 January 1875 - 21 January 1951 wed 2 December 1900 The Denison Press Friday, January 26, 1951 pg.4 Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Bratcher-Moore chapel for Walter Jackson Lee, 75, of 924 W. Crawford, who died in a local hospital Sunday after 6 days of illness. Rev. Ronald Prince, pastor of Parkside Baptist Church officiated and interment was in Georgetown cemetery. Mr. Lee was born in Fallas county, Texas, son of Mr. and Mrs. M.J. Lee. He was educated in Franklin schools and was married in 1900 to Miss Arzona Anderson. He was a retired well digger and farmer, and a member of the Parkside Baptist Church. Survivors are his widow of Denison; 3 sons, Albert Lee and Wm. B. Lee, Dallas; and Melvin I. Lee, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Johnnie Qualls, Clovis, New Mexico; Mrs. Jessie Clement and Mrs. Susie Kretsinger, Denison; 2 brothers, Luther Lee, Hearne, Texas; and George Lee, Amarillo, Texas; 2 sisters, Mrs. Alice Taylor, Uhiah, California; and Mrs. Almeda Green, Corsicana, Texas; 26 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
