The Denison Press Friday, May 3, 1946 pg. 1 Second Victim Claimes at Bridge on Duck Creek Hwy 75 For the second time Duck Creek has claimed the life of an autoist at a dangerous point on the creek where a bridge with little approach warning is located. The bridge is on Highway 75 some two miles north of Denison, and fails to carry the necessary warning signs to travelers. The latest victim is W.E. Hull, 61, a farmer from near Georgetown who went into the creek Wednesday night shortly after 8 o'clock. His car plunged from the roadbed into the creek. The other victim was Floyd C. Isom, of near Sherman who went into the creek at the same spot some ten days ago. Both men were drowned and their bodies later found by passersby.
