Hamilton passed away on Monday, December 29, 2008, at Wilson N. Jones Medical
Center.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel and graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 2, 2009 in Georgetown Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Hancock officiating. Wynona was born June 8, 1942 in Bennett, Texas to Joseph Henry and Imogene Emberlin Gresham. She graduated from Mienral Wells High School. She married Billy Hamilton on April 1, 1961 in Mineral Wells. She retired after 26 years with the Pottsboro ISd where Mrs. Hamilton touched many lives of the children in first grade. Wynona was involved with supporting her children, grandchildren and many other children in Pottsboro during their extra curricular activities. She was a member of Georgetown Baptist Church. Survivors are her husband, Billy Hamilton; her sons, Craig Hamilton and his wife Karen of Pottsboro; Ryan Hamilton and wife Danielle of Pittsburg, Texas; her daughter Kaye Jones and her husband Rick of Celina, Texas; her brother Morris Gresham and his wife Bettie of Ovilla, Texas and her sister DiAnne Pruett and her husband Cotton of Paris, Texas. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Tara and Taylor Jones of Celina; Kaylie Hamilton of Pottsboro; and Brayten Hamilton of Pittsburg, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents.
