Halterman 1882 - 1965 The Denison Press April 28, 1950 pg. 5 DEATHS Funeral services were held at Bratcher-Moore chapel Sunday afternoon, April 23 for Collie H. Halterman, 71, of Route 2, Denison, who died Saturday morning after four months of illness. He had resided in Grayson County 70 years. The Rev. Bruce Hibbit conducted the services and burial was in Georgetown cemetery with Bratcher-Moore in charge of arrangements. Mr. Halterman was born in Tennessee, September 26, 1878 [sic], the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andy Halterman. He was educated in Denison schools and was married in Dallas County April 4, 1901 to Miss Ettie Jordon. He was a retired farmer. Survivors are his widow; his mother, Mrs. Lucy Moser; a son, A.D. Hatlerman, Denison; two daughters, Mrs. Albert Badgett, Denison and Mrs. Jim Fisher, Seagoville; four half brothers, Amzie Moser and Levi Moser of Oak Grove; Alex Moser, Pottsboro, and Charlie Moser, Apache, Texas; and eight grandchildren.
