Guyton of near here is seriously sick at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Kibb Terry of Enterprise, having suffered a stroke of apoplexy last Monday week. Kibrel Terry 1868 - 1924 Mahala Terry 1868 - 1952 The Denison Press Friday, February 15, 1952 pg. 4 DEATHS Funeral services were held at the Hagerman Baptist Church Monday, February 11 for Mrs. C.K. "Kit" Terry, 83, who died at her home on Rt. 3, Sherman, Saturday, February 9. The Rev. Don Bergaron of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Rev. Frank Rowe of Sherman officiated at the services and interment was in Georgetown Cemetery with Bratcher-Moore, funeral directors, in charge. Mrs. Terry came to Grayson County from Kosciusko, Mississippi, with her parents when she was one year old. She was one of the first settlers of the Hagerman community. She was born in Kosciusko, Mississippi December 25, 1868, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.S. Guyton. She attended Grayson County schools. She was a member of Hagerman Baptist Church and the Woodmen Circle. Mr. Terry died December 25, 1925 [sic]. Survivors include two sons, John Steel Terry and Curtis Terry, both of Sherman; two daughters, Mrs. H.C. McKinney, Denison, and Mrs. Lee Guilloud, Pottsboro; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
