CHARLES L. FULENCHEK, 71, passed away Wednesday, November
26, 2008 at Texoma Medical Center.
Family visitation is 6-7 p.m. Friday at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel.
services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 29, 2008 at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro
Chapel with Brother Bob Sholl officiating and burial at Georgetown Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Andrew Fulencheck, Brandon Fulencheck, Ricky Toth, Danny
Gordon, Brent Smith, and Gary Harrison.
Charles was born April 14, 1937 in Pottsboro to George W. and Cordelia Thomas Fulenchek.
He married Jonell Miley on September 26, 1958 in Durant, Oklahoma. She
died on December 24, 2003.
He worked for several companies as a carpenter and was past president of the
Carpenters Local Union #304 in Denison. He was a member of the Pottsboro
Church of Christ.
He is survived by his mother Corelia Fulenchek of Denison; his sons
Ronnie
Fulenchek and his wife Karen of McKinney, Texas; Mike Fulenchek and his
wife
Lisa of Sherman; and Jeff Fulenchek and his wife Alix of Gunter, Texas.
Also surviving are his sisters Kathy Gorden of Pottsboro and
Brenda Raley of
Whitney, Texas. He has eight grandchildren and two great
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, wife and sister Ailene Toth.

POTTSBORO
- Cordelia Belle Fulenchek, 98, of Pottsboro died Sunday, June 3, 2012
at the Homestead of Denison. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.
Wednesday at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel. Bro. Bob Sholl and Bro.
Greg Knight will officiate with Mike Fulenchek giving the eulogy.
Visitation will be from 6:30 -8 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro
Chapel.
She
was born August 22, 1913 in Sherman to Mart and Bessie Crook Thomas.
She married George W. Fulenchek on July 9, 1928 in Pottsboro. He
preceded her in death in February of 1996.
Cordelia
came by covered wagon to Grayson County as a child. The family traveled
back and forth from Trenton, Mo. to this area. She was a lifetime
resident of the Pottsboro and Denison areas. She was a member of the
Pottsboro Church of Christ for more than 60 years and was their oldest
member. She was an avid master quilter and cleaned and did ironing for
people. She worked at the Texas Nursery for several years. She was a
wonderful homemaker.
She
is survived by two daughters, Kathy Gordon and her husband Paul of
Pottsboro, and Brenda Raley of Whitney; brothers, Calvin Fulenchek and
his wife Mildred of Pottsboro; sister-in-law, Maxine Fulenchek Carney
of Sherman; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; six
great-greatgrandchildren; her special caregiver, Kim Matthews; and lots
of nieces and nephews.
She
was preceded in death by her husband, George; daughter, Hele Aline
Toth; son, Charles L. Fulenchek; grandson, Brian Toth; son-in-law,
Joseph Toth; daughter-in-law, Jo Nell Fulenchek; brother, Lloyd Thomas;
and sister, Juanita Moon.
Her
grandsons will serve as pallbearers: Ricky Toth, Ronnie Fulenchek, Mike
Fulenchek, Jeff Fulenchek, Danny Gordon, Garry Harrison. Honorary
pallbearers will be James Raines, special nephew J.D. Thomas and her
great-grandsons.
