Reeves 22 May 1905 - 29 June 1997 Denison Press Friday, November 12, 1937 FORMER RESIDENT OF POTTSBORO BURIED FRIDAY Funeral services for Mrs. Nora Reeves, 63, a former resident of Pottsboro, living in Austin the past 8 years, who died at 5:20 p.m. Thursday at her home in Austin, were held Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock in Georgetown, with Rev. White of Sherman officiating. Interment was held at Pottsboro cemetery with Short-Murray directing. Pallbearers were R.M. Wilson, E. Looney and A.S. Allen of Potosboro, Judge J.J. Loy of Sherman, Earl Myer of Houston and J.N. Dickson, of Sherman. Mrs. Reeves, nee Miss Nora Hull, was born April 27, 1874 to Mr. and Mrs. William Hull of Pottsboro at which point she was reared and received her education. She married William S. Reeves, a banker and county clerk, during September 1896 at Pottsboro, where they resided until 1905, moving then to Sherman but taking up residence again Pottsboro during 1919. Mr. Reeves died April 30, 1929. Mrs. Reeves moved to Austin where she has since resided. She became ill November 8 and was removed to a hospital November 9 where she later died. The remains, accompanied by relatives, arrived in Denison at 11:25 a.m. today and were removed to the home of her son, Tom M. Reeves, 830 West Crawford street where the body will lie until time for the funeral at Georgetown. Surviving are four sons: Tom M. of Denison, W.S. of Tyler, R.G. of San Francisco, and Jack H. of Austin; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Bell Federer of Austin; 3 brothers, W.E. Hull of Pottsboro, H.B. Hull of Kilgore, R.H. Hull of Pasadena, California.
