  Marlene Moser Edwards March 15, 1941 - November 2, 2012 Our beloved mother, Marlene Moser, Edwards, age 71, of Pottsboro, Texas, was taken by the angels to be with the Lord on Friday, November 2, 2012 at the Heart Hospital in Plano, Texas. She was born to Paula and Willie Moser of Idar-Oberstein, German on March 15, 1941. She married Ronnie Edwards, of Pottsboro, Texas on February 20, 1960 and they were married for 25 years. Marlene worked at the Denison Walmart for 22 years until she retired in March 2010. She was known to her family as "Oma". She enjoyed gardening, cooking and shopping at Dillards. The love of her life was her family. Marlene spent countless hours raising money for Childrens Miracle Network and St. Jude's Childrens Hospital. She is survived by her son Danny and wife Rebecca Edwards of Pottsboro, Texas; daughter Debbie Edwards, Sherman, Texas; granddaughter, Jamie Edwards of Cartwright, OK; also granddaughter Randi Swinney and husband Andrew of Sherman, TX. Marlene has four great-grandchildren: Audree Corbett, Denison, Texas; Alexa Yandell, Denison, Texas; Alissa and Austin Lemley, Sherman, Texas. Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Carl, and great-granddaughter Hope Nestrick. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at American Funeral Services, 4312 W. Crawford St., Denison, Texas. Interment will follow at Georgetown Cemetery, Pottsboro, Texas. Pallbearers serving are Danny Rutledge, Ronnie Franklin, David Hawley, Troy Hooper, Richard Hooper, and Mike Eppler. A family visitation will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2012 from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the American Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial be made to Childrens Miracle Network, and or St. Jude's Childrens Hospital. American Funeral Services has charge of all arrangements.
