  Scherri L. Perkins 1 March 1958 - 3 June 2015 Jerry M. Perkins 20 June 1946 -  wed 6 April 1991 The Herald Democrat June 4-5, 2015 Pottsboro - Scherri Burks Perkins, 57, of Pottsboro passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Texoma Medical Center. She was born March 1, 1958 in Dallas to Johnnie L. and Betty C. McBee Burks. She graduated from Pottsboro High School and was employed with Libby Owens Ford for 21 years. Scherri married Jerry Perkins on April 6, 1991 in Las Vegas, Nevada and together they enjoed spending time on the lake and riding motorcycles. A family gathering was held Friday, June 5 at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel. A private memorial servicewas held at a later date. Survivors include her father, Johnnie L. Burks of Bonham; husband; son, Derek Hedgecock; daughter, Michelle Hedgecock; sister, Carolyn Malone and husband, Rodney; and brother, Philip Burks. She was preceded in death by her mother.
