  Linda Parsons 1955 - 2015 The Herald Democrat November 30, 2015 DENISON - Linda Diane Parsons, age 60, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015 in Denison. Linda Diane Watkins was born January 30, 1955 in Ardmore, Oklahoma, the daughter of Obie and Sena (Usrey) Watkins Sr. Linda was talented in many areas of her life and loved to remodel and restore old homes. She was an excellent baker and enjoyed cooking sweets for her family and friends. Mrs. Parsons is survived by her family, daughter, Melody Sexton, son, Charles Parsons, three grandchildren, Zachary Whitehurst, Lonnie Whitehurst and Destiny Parsons, six siblings, Obie Watkins Jr., Cynthia Watkins, Sarah Watkins, Joyce Jones, Amelia Everett and Cecelia Everett, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Walter Wylie. A graveside memorial service for Mrs. Parsons will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Georgetown Cemetery in Pottsboro. There is no set time for visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home in Denison .
