  Melvin Ulch 1929 - 2012  The Herald Democrat November 22, 2012 SHERMAN - Services for Melvin Frank Ulch, 83, of Sherman will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, November 12, at Scoggins Funeral Home Chapel in Van Alstyne. Burial will follow at the Georgetown Cemetery in Pottsboro. The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 2 to 4 p.m., at Scoggins Funeral Home in Van Alstyne. Melvin passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Ulch is survived by his wife, Jewel Ulch of Sherman; sons, David Ulch of Sherman, and Frank Ulch of Denison; daughter, Lisa Cruz of Achille, Okla.; brothers, Robert Ulch of Denison, and Lester Ulch of Sherman; sisters, Helen Pierot of Durant, and Ruby Ulch, 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
