- Services for Jesse R. Cook, 77, of Denison will be 11 a.m. tomorrow
at the Johnson-Moore Funeral chapel, with Rev. Billy Wilder
officiating. Military graveside services will be held in
Georgetown Cemetery. Cook died yesterday in a Denison hospital. He was born in Clifton February 10, 1906, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Lee Cook. He attended school in Oak Grove and Pottsboro. He married Kathleen Heironimus, December 28, 1948, in Sadler. He was a carpenter and farmer and was a member of the Pottsboro Methodist Church. A veteran of World War II, Cook served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, in the 748th Bombardment Squadron. Survivors include his wife; one brother, Alvin E. Cook of Pottsboro; two sisters, Lillian Cook and Marjorie Carder, both of Pottsboro. Pallbearers were Bill Heironimus, Harold Heironimus, Farris Choate, Clyde Towery, Randy Cook and Steve Cook.
