Tuesday, March 6, 1906 pg.8 POTTSBORO The remains of Mrs. Elizabeth Clontz arrived here Friday from Cash, I.T. and were interred in the Georgetown Cemetery Friday evening. Mrs. Clontz was born February 21, 1874 about 6 miles north of Sherman, was married to W.T. Clontz September 25, 1894, and died February 28, 1906. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bradley, who are pioneer settlers of Grayson County. She had lived in the neighborhood of her old home all her life until last fall, when her family moved to Oklahoma, where she died. History of the Bradley Family of Grayson County, Texas compiled by M.C. Haggard Sherman - Funeral services was held at 3 p.m. today at Waldo Chapel for Walter T. Clontz, 81, farmer in the Oak Grove area west of Denison, who died Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Viola Sloan, Denison, Route 3. Rev. A.W. Blaine, Baptist minister, officiated. Burial was in the Georgetown Cemetery. Clontz was born Feb. 26, 1874, in Green County, Ohio. He came to Grayson County in 1877. He was married to Miss Elizabeth Bradley September 5, 1894, in Sherman. She died in 1906. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ora Naylor of Sherman and Mrs. Sloan; one son, W.A. Clontz of Denison; one sister, Mrs. A.L. Moser of Pottsboro; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
