Porttsboro
- Funeral services for Florence Lucille Clountz, 91, who died August
10, 1995, at Texoma Medical Center, were held at Georgetown Cemetery,
Pottsboro. Bob Monroe officiated. Arrangement were under
the direction of Bratcher Funeral Home.
Mrs.
Clountz was born April 29, 1904, daughter, of James and Nora Flippens
Cook. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry S. Clountz,
on November 23, 1969. She was a homemaker and a member of Willow
Springs Church of Christ and attended faithfully.
Survivors
include a son, George William Clountz of Sherman; daughter, Natalie
Bauman of Pottsboro; brother,.James Cook of Golden City, Missouri; 3
sisters, Jessie Travis of Pottsboro; Daddie Cook of Pottsboro; and
Fannie Purdue of Collinsville; and 3 grandchildren.
