  Carlos L. Waggoner 9 January 1935 - 31 December 2018 Ernestine Waggoner 10 July 1939 - wed 28 May 1955  Pottsboro - Carlos L. Waggoner, 83, died on Monday, December 31, 2018 at Carrus Specialty Hospital in Sherman. Carlos was born in Durant, Oklahoma on January 9, 1935, son of William and Louise McAlister Waggoner. He was educated in Willow Springs and he and Ernestine Moon were married in 1954 in Denison. He worked for Loe's Highpoint Resort as a shop foreman and was of the Church of Christ faith. Carlos is survived by his wife of the home; son, Gene Waggoner of Pottsboro; daughters, Paula Pitman of Leonard, Texas; and Lana Ulmer of Pottsboro, Texas; brother, George Waggoner of Denison; sister, Barbara Cook of Denison; grandchildren, Emry, Avni, Rogan, Kade and Holly. He was preceded in death by his parents; and 2 brothers, Bill and William Dale Waggoner. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, January 2, 2019 at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel with Bro. Kevin Shimp officiating. Burial followed in Georgetown Cemetery. Serving as his pallbearers were Marty Ulmer, Dillon Ulmer, Kevin Moon, David Roy, Mike Byley, and Vik Deivanayagam. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Pottsboro Church of Christ, 522 W. FM 120.
