Marvin Johnson 1951 - 2011 Marvin Lee Johnson, age 59, entered into eternal life Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital-WJN. Mr. Johnson was born March 17, 1951 in Denison, Texas the son of Hubert and Darlene (Anderson) Johnson. Marvin graduated from Denison High School. He gratefully served in the U. S. Navy, traveling all over the world for 20 years before retiring. Marvin enjoyed watching Nascar, karaoke and going fishing. He never met a stranger, was kind to all. Marvin loved spending time with his family, especially the grandkids. Marvin will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Mr. Johnson is survived by his loving family, special friend, Darlene Souther of Sherman, TX, sons, Brandon Johnson of Corpus Christi, TX, B. J. Souther of Wylie, TX, Jeff Souther and wife, Karie of Sherman, TX and Terry Souther of Sherman, TX, daughters, Amanda Wilson and husband, David of South Carolina, Tammy Shiver and husband, Travis of San Antonio, TX, Jeanna Souther of Howe, TX and Cindy Souther and husband, Kris Holmes of Tom Bean, TX, eleven grandchildren, Kyle Wilson, Mathew Wilson, Brody Shiver, Macey Adams, Josh Adams, Hannah Souther, Stella Souther, Brittany Souther, Brandi Souther, BreAnna Schmeidoer and Bailey Schmeidoer, brother, Thomas Johnson and wife, Sherry of Crowley, TX, sisters, Elna Miller of Irving, TX, Dorothy McCain and husband, Clint of Denison, TX, Donna Buttrill and husband, Steve of Colbert, OK and Bobbie Galloway and husband, Ronnie of Denison, TX and Debbie of Oregon. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Frankie Johnson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2011 at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Georgetown Cemetery with Military Honors in Pottsboro. Family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Fisher Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jeff Souther, B. J. Souther, Kris Holmes, Bill Rice, Raul Barrera and Joe Garcia.
