- Funeral services for W.R. "Bill" Clement, 78, a life long resident of
Georgetown, who died at his home at 2:15 p.m. Sunday, were held at the
Methodist Church here at 3 p.m. today with Rev. Ray Short officiating.
Burial was in the Georgetown Cemetery, directed by Bratcher-Moore
Funeral Home. A member of the Methodist Church here, Mr. Clement was born December 13, 1867 in Georgetown and he married Miss Hattie Campbell in 1895. He is survived by his wife and 4 sons, Robert of Denison; Erwin of Seymour; Albert of Irving; and Francis of Pottsboro; 3 daughters, Mrs. E.C. Hardenburg of Pottsboro; and L.L. Nicholas of Grand Prairie; and Mrs. H.M. Lewis of Decatur; 4 brothers, Jim of Pottsboro; George of Manville; Alf of Pottsboro; and Johnny of Denison; 5 sisters, Mrs. Nannie Beard of Denison; Miss May and Mrs. Minnie Watkins of Pottsboro; Mrs. Lillie Oswalt of Denison; and Mrs. Carrie James of Pottsboro; 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
