Watkins Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie M. Watkins, 80, of Pottsboro, were held in the Pottsboro Presbyterian Church Thursday, April 24 at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. James I. Logan officiated and interment was in Georgetown Cemetery. Mrs. Watkins died in Dallas April 23, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ruby Morrison with whom she had made her home for the past eight months. She was born in Pottsboro April 16, 1878 the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Clements and had lived most of her life there. She was a member of the Pottsboro Presbyterian Church. Survivors are one son, Garvin Watkns, Denison; a daughter, Mrs. Ruby Morrison, Dallas; two brothers, John Clement and Alf Clement, both of Denison; and a granddaughter, Mrs. June Johnson, Dallas.
