- Services for Mrs. Virgil Goode Clement, 88, of Pottsboro, who died
Saturday at Fannin County Hospital in Bonham, were held Monday
afternoon at Johnson-Moore Chapel. Rev. L.A. Sublett presided,
with burial in Georgetown Cemetery. Mrs. Clement was born in Pottsboro in 1897, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Goode, and in 1923 married Owen Clement in Gainesville. She attended Sherman and Pottsboro schools and Kidd-Key College. She was a housewife and a member of Pottsboro First Baptist Church.
