  Nannie Gill Witt 25 January 1915 - 20 December 2002  POTTSBORO - Nannie M. Witt, 87, passed away on Friday,
December 20, 2002 at Texoma Medical Center. Mrs. Witt was born on January 25, 1925 in Hagerman Community to parents Elmer Lee and Sarah Elizabeth. She attended Sherman High School in Sherman, Texas, and was married to Robert James Witt March 23, 1932 in Durant, Oklahoma. Mrs. Witt was a loving homemaker and a member of the Hagerman Baptist Church. She was survived by her son, Bob Witt and wife Connie of Branford, Florida and her brothers Joe Gill of Houston, Texas and E.J. Gill of Austin, Texas. She was also survived by five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren as well as a daughter-in-law, Lou Witt of Denison, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert James Witt, her son Pat James Witt on August 5, 2002 and her parents. Visitation will be Sunday, December 22, 2002 at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. Rev. Shawn Kemp will lead the services on Monday, December 23, 2002 at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Following the services, she will be laid to rest at Georgetown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Gill, Robert Daugherty, Clay Burns, Mehdi Mostowfi, Randy Anderson, and Larry Guilloud. Memorials can be sent to Hagerman Baptist Church, 2619 Refuge Rd., Sherman, Texas 75092. Johnson-Moore Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
