Denison - Mrs. Willie Almeda Witbeck, 46, died at 5:30 AM Saturday at a local hospital after a three-weeks illness. There will be a private funeral Sunday at the Short and Murray Chapel, the Rev. James E. Spivey, officiating. Burial will follow at Georgetown cemetery. It is requested there be no flowers.
Relatives include her step-mother, Mrs. E.L. French of Pottsboro, three sisters, Mrs. F.A. Loving of Sherman, Mrs. J. S. Brooks of Denson and Mrs. Richard Jones of Kansas City, MO. Mrs. Witbeck was born Nov. 26, 1894 at Pottsboro, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. E.L. French (Marian Wallace Powell French and Edward Lee French). She receiving her schooling at Pottsboro and in Arkansas. She was married in 1919 to Mr. Witbeck, who died some years ago. Mrs. Witbeck came to Denison from Mountain View, MO., and resided at 418 East Crawford.
