  John Daniel Tier 28 March 1920 - 2 January 1983 Wilma Ruth Tier 6 January 1910 - 17 November 1991   John Daniel Tier 28 March 1920 - 2 January 1983 TSgt US Air Force WWII, Korea Sherman Democrat November 19, 1991 A10 POTTSBORO - Funeral for Ruth Tier, 81, of Pottsboro, who died Sunday, Nov. 17, 1991, at Texoma Medical Center, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel. The Rev. Hugh Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery. Mrs. Tier was born January 6, 1910 in Lugart, Oklahoma, daughter of William H. and Myrtle M. Masters. She attended school in Covington, Oklahoma and married John Daniel Tier, Octobber 2, 1951 in Enid, Oklahoma. He died January 2, 1983. She was a Presbyterian. Survivors include a brother, W.W. Masters of Morrison Oklahoma; three sisters, Mrs. Flaud Cooley of Oklahoma City, Esther Sala of Beggs, Oklahoma and Helen Whiteman of Spencer, Oklahoma. The family will be at the residence.
