DENISON - Funeral for David A. Wynn Jr., 33, of Denison, who died Sunday at Fort Hood, will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Johnson-Moore Chapel, with Chaplain Kenneth R. Greene officiating. Full military graveside service will be at Georgetown Cemetery, conducted by the U.S. Army Honor Guard from Fort Hood.
Wynn was born May 4, 1955 at Carswell Air Force Base in Fort Worth, son of David and Marjorie Wynn. A 1974 graduate of Sherman High School, he married Judy C. Wages Nov. 17, 1978 in Denison. Wynn, an employee of the Denison Independent School District, was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Sherman. A lifetime member of the Texas ANG Association, he was a Spec. 4 with the Texas Army National Guard.
Surviving are his wife of Denison; parents of Sherman; three brothers, Steve, Dennis A., both of Sherman, John of The Colony; sister, Brenda Robinson of Cartwright; and grandparents, Rollo Leroy and Dessie Dake of Mansfield.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7-8 p.m. Thursday.
