Allen, 52, a Pottsboro nurseryman, died Monday of bronchial pneumonia while on a business trip to Tulsa, Oklahoma where he had nursery interests. The body was taken to the family home near Pottsboro, Grayson County, where funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Allen was born February 20, 1878. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edith Allen, and the following children: Mary, Lorene, Ruth Hull, Dick and W.E. Allen, Jr.; by 3 sisters, Mrs. Sam J. Hull and Miss Thelma Allen of Pottsboro; and Mrs. Albert Burgess of Tulsa, in whose home he died; and 3 brothers, A.S. Allen of Pottsobro; Jack Allen of Wichita Falls; and James G. Allen of Henrietta. He was a nephew of Mrs. J.P. Wheat of Sherman and a cousin of George Stewart; Mrs. Clay Fitch and Miss Annie Stewart and Miss Bess Stewart of Sherman
