  Robert A. "Bobby" Travis 18 December 1938 - 15 February 2000 Darlene Travis 30 June 1941 - 17 July 2010  Graveside services for Darlene Brinlee, Travis, age 69, a Pottsboro, Texas resident will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 in Georgetown Cemetery, Pottsboro, Texas, with Mark Price officiating. Family night will be at American Funeral Services, 4312 W. Crawford St., Denison, Texas at 6 p..m. on Tuesday, July 20, 2010. Darlene went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 17, 2010, after a struggle with leukemia, at Medical City Hospital in Dallas, Texas. She was born on June 30, 1941. Darlene married Robert A. Travis on May 19, 1957 in Durant, Oklahoma. They have two sons, Dwight and wife Shari Travis of Denison, Texas and Anthony and wife Rhonda Travis of Pottsboro, Texas. She had four grandchildren, DJ Travis of Pottsboro, Texas; Krystyn Travis of McKinney, Texas; Gage Travis and Carrington Travis both of Pottsboro, Texas. She had six siblings; Larry Brinlee of Sherman, Texas; Donna Benson of Como, Texas; Ed Brinlee of Cartwright, Oklahoma; Marilyn Mosier of Princeton, Texas; Greg Worthington of Princeton, Texas and Dale Roach of Denison, Texas and her well beloved canine companion Max. Darlene was a devoted Christian of the Baptist faith. She was a member of Georgetown Baptist Church in Pottsboro. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister and loved being with her family. She enjoyed fishing, vegetable gardens and having cook outs on the grill with family and friends. She was a caregiver in the medical field and enjoyed taking care of her elderly patients. She was also an Avon representative for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Travis; her mother, Lois Edith O'Neal, and her father, Larry Odell Brinlee.
