 Herald Democrat August 3, 2010 DENISON - Susie Whitt Smith, 50, entered into eternal life Friday, July 30, 2010 at her home. Mrs. Smith was born March 17, 1960 in Sulphur Springs, the daughter of Olen and Juanita (Dophied) Whitt. Susie married the love of her life, Voris Smith. Susie worked for Wilson N. Jones Medical Center and The Renaissance caring for others before retiring. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Susie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Mrs. Smith is survived by her loving family: husband, Voris Smith of Denison; daughter Stacy Stone and husband, Brandon of Denison; grandchildren, Hayden Waters, Keylyn Wright, Wyatt Stone, and Kyler Wright, all of Denison; brothers, Glenn Whitt of Topeka, Kan. and Gary Whitt of Boise, Idaho. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor Tracey Dophied officiating. Private internment will follow services at Georgetown Cemetery. Family visitation will be held at 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Fisher Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, located at 604 West Main in Denison.
