VAN ALSTYNE - Mary Janell (Gentry) Bush was called to glory
by her Lord and Savior on May 24, 2010. She was born on Feb. 2, 1924 in
Van Alstyne to Oden Anderson and Ader Elmer (Morris) Gentry. Mary was married
to Walter King Bush and worked as a seamstress for Sphinx Industries. She
was a member of the Pentecostal faith. Mary is survived by her daughters, Sheridan Lifsey and husband Rob
of Cozumel, Mexico, Linda Taylor and husband Don of Bedford; daughter-in-law,
Becky Bush of Pottsboro; grandchildren, Julie Hicks of Crowley, Denise
Dulany of Keller, Keller, Jared Lifsey of Sherman, and Isaac Bush of Pottsboro;
eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Willie Shaw, Glenda Logan, Loraine
Smith, Nettie Belle Blackmon; brother, O.A. Gentry. She was preceded in
death by her beloved husband, Walter K. Bush and one son, Vaughn Bush.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 28, 2010 at
the Flesher Funeral Home Chapel in Van Alstyne with Clint Sylvester officiating.
Interment will follow at Georgetown Cemetery in Pottsboro. Visitation will
be held from 10 -11 a.m. Friday, one hour prior to the service.
