  Betty Jean Moser, 86, slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus, Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Homestead of Denison. Mrs. Moser was born July 2, 1930 in Denison, Texas, daughter of Cecil and Frances Foust Sweeney. She graduated from Denison High School in the Class of 1949. For many years she worked in retail sales and later as a sitter in people's homes. Betty enjoyed sewing and was an excellent seamstress. She loved the Lord and was a member of Light Fellowship, where she taught Sunday School, was the secretary and nursery attendant. Mrs. Moser is survived by her son, Stephen Moser and wife, Denise; granddaughter, Leah Flippo and husband, Michael; and dear friend, Kim Koiner. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Frankie Sweeney and Jimmy Sweeney; and her beloved daughter, Carolyn Jean Mabary. Graveside services were held Thursday afternoon, March 16, 2017 at Georgetown Cemetery in Pottsboro with Pastor Effie Bowden officiating.
