  Lakrisha Jane Higginbotham Burton, 39, slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus Wednesday, October 31, 2018 in Denison. Lakrisha was born December 3, 1978 in Denison, daughter of Ricky and Donna Johnson Higginbotham. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially going camping and fishing, The great joys of her life were her two boys. She loved going to their games and watching them play sports. Lakrisha touched the lives of many people working beside her mom, caring for others at Nana's Place in Denison. She leaves behind her beloved family: her husband, Robert Burton of Denison; sons, Rayden Burton and Brenton Burton, both of Denison; parents, Ricky Higginbotham and Donna and Steven Buttrill; brothers, Curtis Johnson, Mike Higginbotham, Justin Buttrill, Clint Buttrill; and niece, Kelsey Johnson. Funeral service of Lakrisha was held Monday morning, November 5, 2018 at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Taylor officiating. Interment followed at Georgetown Cemetery in Pottsboro. Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home in Denison.
