If the Honey Grove Warriors come out on top this Friday night when they play Van Alstyne, Whitewright will represent the district in bi-district where they will meet Frisco, the only team to defeat the Tigers this year. Peggy Clark: That I was born, not hatched. Kay Alexander: We don't have Khrushchev for our president. Patsi King: For boys! What else? Kathy Wilson: I hope to be thankful that Honey Grove beats or ties Van. Karen Darwin: That we have a pep squad and a football team that never gives up. Bill Bass: For a good show calf and two pigs. Eddie Range: That we are going to win District. Murry Bryant: That I haven't been to the office lately. Billy Skipworth: That Sneed doesn't sit by me in the classroom any more. Derwood Berryhill: I am thankful about my calf. Terry Edwards: That we don't have to look at Frisby's hair but 5 days a week. Bill White: That I live in the U.S.A. instead of Russia. Larry Garner: That there is only one Mr. Johnson. Mike Savage: That we have a new bus to get stuck in. Danny Carraway: That Joe Hennig does not have four arms. Jimmy Flatt: That we just have one History and Algebra class per day. James Shaw: That I sit by someone smart in English class. Linda Wright: That we have only one Miss Caldwell and one Jackie Jester. Sammy Montgomery: That we were not beaten by Van Alstyne while I was in high school. Anyone driving a car at noon shall not carry six persons (including driver) in the car at any one time. 2. Anyone driving a car at noon shall be on time to school at the end of the lunch period. 3. Drivers shall observe all traffic laws. 4. Students, particularly girls, shall not ride with anyone not enrolled in school unless parent or adult. 5. All drivers and riders shall not sit in cars around the campus. 6. All cars shall be parked parallel to the street. 7. No cars shall be parked on the south side of the street because the street is too narrow. For violation of any of the above regulations, the driver and riders will forfeit their right to use cars during the lunch period and will be restricted to the campus for one week. For the second violation, two weeks restriction to the campus is the penalty. For the third violation, four weeks restriction to the campus is the penalty. For the fourth or more violations, you will be restricted to the campus for the rest of the year or until such times as you can conduct yourself properly. The adoption of these rules was made necessary by students who disregard safety and common sense rules in driving their cars. These regulations, approved by the school board, were put into effect solely for the protection of students. Students' cooperation in abiding by these regulations will be appreciated by the school board and administration. L.K.C. SENIOR SPOTLIGHT The senior in the senior spotlight this week is Rose Ann Bunch. Rose Ann was born July 28, 1945, to Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Bunch. She has two brothers - Ray and Danny. Some of Rose Ann's favorites are: sport - watching football games pastime - listening to the radio subject - civics T.V. program - "Beverly Hillbillies" actor - Troy Donahue actress - Connie Stevens song - "Only Love Can Break a Heart" food - most foods in general Rose Ann like clothes and jewelry. She dislikes people who put on an act. Rose Ann's ambition is to graduate from high school and be a secretary.
