SUMMER PLANTS
First of all, we have our little brunett, Mozelle Harvey, who plans on getting married and making a good housewife for Alton Ray Morris.
Audrey Bass says she's not going to do anything, but I'll bet she does.
Maxine Neal plans on getting a job.  She hasn't made up her mind as to what or where.
Sara Head is going to help her mother move to Sherman and is applying for a position in some firm there.
Going to Dallas and finding a job is Ann Harper's plans.
Alice, Nell and Doretha plan on trying for jobs at the telephone office in Sherman.
Work, keep house, and write to Scott are the things Dixie plans on doing during the summer.
Carol Kilgroe plans on working and going to business school.
Nancy May says she plans on just loafing and maybe working.
Working at the "Cleaners" is Jack Smith's intentions.
John Dale just wants to have a real good time.  That won't be hard to do.
All Jimmy Christian wants to do is to graduate.
Bobby Rubarts is going to have a good time.
Joe Wallace is going to Dallas to work.  He doesn't know where.
Peggy and Florena are planning on working in Dallas.
Jeanette Jones plans on going to work somewhere, probably Dallas.
Mary Lou Brown will probably go to Kansas to work in an office.

PERSONALITIES
John Dale Reeves - Has brown hair, dark wavy hair, and stands just shy of 6 feet.  Likes to have a good time anywhere.  He's the life of the senior class and has a knack for making people laugh.  Was voted most handsome boy of the Senior class.  Received four letters in football, and also the "Babe Ruth Good Sportsmanship Award."  Is recognized by his loud mouth and his passion for arguing.  Doesn't go steady; prefers Bobby Rubart's company.  Likes symphonic music.  Is thinking about entering college.

Dixie Watkins Mallard - Married Scott Mallard February 3, 1952 at Tulsa, Oklahoma, and has the honor of being the first of the present Senior girls to tie the knot.  Likes to listen to "Dragnet."  Has light brown hair, blue eyes and stands 5 feet, 7 inches.  Enjoys French-fried shrimp.  Was voted "Most Beautiful Girl" of the Senior class.  Dislikes smarties and catty people.  Claims Margaret O'Brien and Bing Crosby as her favorite stars.  Says her formula of a happy marriage is love, affection and children.

Audrey Lynn Bass - Is one of seven children.  Likes dangling earrings.  Doesn't go steady but dates a boy in Trenton.  Has brown hair, blue eyes and is 5 feet, 7 inches tall.  Enjos hillbilly music. Plant to loaf 'til fall.  Dislikes pineapple and nosey people.  Says Doris Day and Dennis Morgan rate as her favorite movie stars.  Would be recognized anywhere by her height and her softball ability.  Is nicknamed "Aubrey."  Likes to eat most of the time.

Nancy Sieu May - Would really like to be a ballet dancer or a model.  Was voted "Best All Around Girl" of the Senior class, and chosen "Football Sweatheart" by the squad.  Likes to drive a car.  Is recognized by her "horse's tail" hair style and big brown eyes.  Adores her worn-out black ballerinas.  Is a whiz when it comes to math.  Lettered three years in basketball.  Doesn't go steady.

Bobby Ray Rubarts - Is a blonde, blue-eyed six-footer.  Is recognized by his reckless driving and his ability to spell.  Likes most foods with the exception of onions.  Voted "Most Likely Boy to Succeed."  Doesn't go steady.  Says he can't resist temptation of any kind.  Lives in the country.  Enjoys sleeping.  Plans to stay out of the Army, jails and large cities.  Likes hillbilly music.  Wants to live to a ripe old age.

Doretha Ann Magers - Is engaged to Don Barkley, a "fly" boy.  Spends her pastime writing letters.  Noticed first, her husband-to-be's flashing brown eyes.  Plans to get married and work somewhere.  Would like to be a receptionist.  Likes ice cream and dislikes conceited people.  Says her weakness is clothes.  Wears glasses.

Peggy Sue Pennell - Resembles the star in "My Friend Irma."  Likes to sing.  Has blonde hair, blue eyes, and stand five feet, two inches.  Finds that playing the field is fun.  Letter three years in basketball.  Possesses a sparkling personality.  Selected as drum major and "Most Popular Girl."  Plans to work this summer in Dallas.  Doesn't like to be called "Irma."  Goes with Franklin Ball occasionally.  May go to college.

Florena Floye Williams - Has been president of more organizations than any other Senior.  Has light brown hair, blue eyes and stands five feet, seven inches.  Doesn't go steady and isn't interested in being "tied down" at the present.  Was elected by her classmates as "Most Studious Girl."  Lettered in basketball. Is recognized by her quick temper and a mischievous gleam in her eye.  Is thinking about going to college.  Would like to have a large family someday.  Belongs to the Methodist church.  Plans to work in Dallas.

James Emory Christian, Jr. - Is better known as Jimmy. Claims his ambition is to get out of Whitewright.  Co-captain of the '51 football team.  Wants to live a wild life.  Advises girls who want to keep their boy friends to try to be happy occasionally and not to be deceitful.  Is recognized by his height (six feet, three inches), his "vicious chop" and a light green Buick.  LIkes for a girl to be truthful.  Lettered four years in football as well as basketball.  Regards himself as a sorry person.  Plans to enter S.M.U.

Rossie Nell Vandagriff - Is engaged to Doyle Files, who is in Germany.  Says her pastime is attending the movies.  Enjoys watching June Allyson and Robert Mitchum on the screen.  Is recognized by her care-free attitude and height (five feet, eight inches)  Has never cared for basketball.  Has brown eyes and hair.  Was born January 19, 1934.  Plans to work until she marries Doyle.  Hopes to be a successful housewife.  Is considered a good friend by all who know her.  Is a whiz in shorthand.

Jack Kenneth Smith - Has blonde hair, blue eyes, and stands five feet, 10 inches.  Was born in Amarillo on January 22, 1934.  Dislikes pressed ham.  Is married to our former Shirley Blanton.  Once lived in Sherman.  Says his pastime is reading literature - the books on the English reading list.  Likes a girl that can cope with any kind of situation.  Helps his dad in the cleaning shop and sometimes delivers.  Was voted "Most Popular Boy" by the Senior class.

Carol Jeanne Kilgroe - Has dark brown hair, green eyes, and stands 5 feet, 2 inches.  Has lived in Whitewright 14 years.  Was born in Oklahoma City.  Specializes in having fun.  Loves to eat.  Prefers navy blue to all colors.  Doesn't like jewelry.  Is recognized by her jubilant, carefree actions and her wide, emblem belts.  Was salutatorian.  Longs to be free and independent.  Is next to the oldest of the "filthy five."  Wants to travel and see things.

Mary Lou Brown - Stands five feet, five inches.  Likes to listen to the Perry Como show.  Hates to wash dishes.  Is very interested in agriculture.  Likes a friendly person with a sense of humor.  Enjoys cooking.  Doesn't like a person who over-dramatizes his feelings.  Once lived in Irving.  Was assistant editor of The Reflector.  Had the honor of making the highest grade in the Senior class (Valedictorian).  Wants to go to college.  Plans to work in Kansas City this summer.

Peggy Pennell - Resembles "My Friend Irma."  Has blonde hair, blue eyes, and stands five feet, two inches.  Lettered three years in basketball.  Was elected "Most Popular Girl" of the Senior class, and served as drum major.  Plans to work in Dallas this summer.  Is recognized by her "swing" and jewelry.  Finds that playing the field is more fun than going steady.  Looks good in blue.  Is a Baptist.  Is a wonderful sport.

Ann Harper - Is quiet, but efficient.  Was elected by her classmates as "Girl Most Likely To Succeed."  Plans to work in Dallas this years.  Has auburn hair and brown eyes.  Used to go with Lyndal Pierson.  Wants to be a secretary.  Has enjoyed her Senior year more than any other.  Is sometimes called "Junior" by Coach.  Is recognized by her reserved manner and red hair.  Was awarded the "Babe Ruth Sportsmanship Award."

Mozelle Harvey - Lettered in basketball.  Is engaged to Alton Ray Morris.  Says her pastime is listening to the radio.  Would like to be an artist.  Likes fruits of all types.  Claims her favorite movie stars are Peggy Dow and Robert Mitchum.  Is among the top students in shorthand.  Dislikes celery.  Would like to be a secretary.

Joe Morris Wallace - Better known as "dirty Joe."  Loves to argue with anyone about anything.  Is recognized by his short hair and a green Chevrolet.  Likes the company of Beverly Bassett.  Is the class pest.  Plans to work in Dallas this summer and enter NTSC this fall.  Has green eyes.  Lettered three years in football.  Has trouble in preparing his bookkeeping lessons.  Has had some good times.
