 Loving
School was eat of Sherman off Highway 82. It was named in honor of the
prominent Loving Family who were early citizens of Sherman. The school was a one-room building with one teacher. The teacher claimed to be the first to start a cafeteria in the county. She cooked and served pot-luck food for the children. The students would bring canned food for her to warm. Loving School was consolidate with Sherman.
