NORMAL NOTES
Sherman, Tex., July 29 - At the normal school at Whitesboro yesterday there was a lively little debate, in which students, trustees, teachers and all engaged, on whether or not it was advisable to maintain the office of county superintendent of public education in Grayson county or let the matter drop back into the hands of the county judge.  It was evident from start to finish that the superintendency was popular, and when it was at last left to a vote of the audience a superintendent was by a practically unanimous vote declared to be the proper official to have charge of the schools.
