S.B. Sivells and D.B. Osborn, teachers in the Van Alstyne public school, spent a few hours here last Saturday.  Prof. Osborn teaches agriculture and is doing some work in that connection for the federal government, his expenses being paid out of the joint appropriation by Grayson county and the department of agriculture for experimental and demonstration crops.  He tells us that several farmers in the vicinity of Whitewright have agreed to take up scientific farming on a limited scale under the direction of the department.
