 Whitewright Sun Thursday, May 26, 1977 pg. 5 Graduation is Friday Seventeen Tom Bean seniors will end their high school day Friday, May 27, 1977, when they receive diplomas in an 8 p.m. ceremony at the high school gym. Addresses will be presented by the valedictorian and salutatorian and special music will be presented by Julie Evans and Laurie Armstrong. Presenting the diplomas will be Jack Hollensed, school superintendent, and Dan Harris, president of the school board. Bobby Robbins, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Robbins of route 4, Sherman, is Valedictorian of the class. He has participated in basketball and track, received all district honors in football and basketball and qualified for the state track meet. He plans to attend Grayson County College and then transfer to a four year college. Sherri Wetzel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Wetzel, of route 4, Sheman, is Salutatorian of the class. She was a member of the drill team for four years and class officer for three years. She has served as an officer of the FHA and Beta Club and received the Future Homemakers Betty Crocker Award.
