MEMORIAL SERVICE

Tioga showed deep appreciation and mourning for our beloved and departed friend and President, Franklin D. Roosevelt in a memorial gathering at the First Baptist church Saturday afternoon of the past week between the hours of 3 and 4 o'clock.
Elder Henry G. Ball offered a short and feeling talk, spoke of the life work of the late President and closed with the reading of the 23rd Psalm and prayer.
Special music was rendered and prayer by H.F. Holloway.
R.E. Spears led the song service with Mrs. Spears at the piano.
A nice crowd was present and altogether it was a fitting and appropriate service for the loss of a very dear friend.
