Raynal School
with monument built in memory of Justin Raynal, the school's namesake
The citizens of Denison placed this memorial granite obelisk, which stood in the median
of the 700 block of West Woodard Street until it was taken out by an errant motorist prior to 2009.
It is said that the children contributed pennies and nickels to pay for the monument.
