Sherman Daily Democrat Friday, June 16, 1911 NEW SCHOOL TEACHERS Full List Were Selected Last Evening There Were but Few Changes in the List - All Old Teachers Applying Were Elected Denison, June 16 - All of the public school teachers who made applications were re-elected at a meeting of the school board yesterday afternoon. Miss Elizabeth Eubank, principal of Lamar school, who has gone to California to reside, and Miss Nell Sullivan, who also will go to that state, did not apply. Mrs. Ada Markham, who has been supervisor of music for several ye ars, was not an applicant. The position of supervisor of music was not filled yesterday. A new department was added by the election of Prof. I.M. Hodges, formerly of Draughon's Business college, as a teacher of penmanship. The newly elected teachers, who will be assigned later, are: Miss Ethel Cummins Mrs. B.A. Campbell Miss Camille Walker Mrs. Victoria Lingle, who has been teacher at the Peabody school, was made principal of the Lamar school to succeed Miss Eubank.
