Progress
Public School #98 was located in the Progress Platt - 1908 Platt Book
of Grayson County, Texas.
The land for the school was deeded to the school by James Isaac Clement, great-grandfather of author. The school could keep the land as long as it remained in existence. If the school ever closed, the land would revert back to Mr. Clement. It appears that sometime after 1935, the school building was sold to Ray Dunning. He dismantled the building and moved it to Sherman, Texas where he built a house. by Mrs. B. L.
