Macready is pictured complete in all of the sartorial splendor of the
1890s. There is the gold watch chain complete with dangling fob
quite visible on his chest. He has the latest bowler type hat.
His coat is carelessly tossed over his shoulder and he has a
cigar in his hand.
Professor Macready spent all his life in the teaching profession and has taught at Silo, Mead and Noble, as well as Pottsboro. As a citizen of Pottsboro, he helped work up the papers used to when the name of the town was changed from Chambersville to Pottsborough.
