The
Pleasant Home School was on land owned by Mr. Craig. In 1915, Miss Ivy
Lilly was the teacher of Pleasant Home School. In 1919,
another room was added and the school became a two-teacher school with
ten grades.
The building was heated by a large pot-belly stove. The fuel was wood and coal. The school was consolidated with Southmayd in 1945. Some of the teachers who taught at Pleasant Home School were:
