Pink Hill District #50 was located three miles west of Bells. It was bounded on the west by Thompsonville and Jernigan, south by Jernigan, east by Bells and north by Calamus.

A modern public school building will be erected at Pink Hill immediately.  The contract has been let and the structure will be let in accordance with the state school house law.  (Sherman Daily Democrat, Wednesday, August 2, 1916, pg. 5)

The school building was built near the church and served as a community center.  Both burned in 1940. The school was rebuilt in 1941. A cistern was used for water which was cleaned out each summer to be ready for the new term.

At one time there were three teachers and the school had a primary department, elementary and high school level courses.

The school published its own annual catalogue of the Pink Hill High School which contained announcements and plans for course of study. The old fashioned principles of individualism, free enterprise, patriotism, industry and integrity were stressed.

In 1949, the school was consolidated with Bells.
