 The
name of the school was from the topography of the land. #79 was
the School District's designation but was discarded when the school
district was dissolved. The number was lager applied to Ambrose
School.
The school district joined Sadler School District on the northeast; it was located north of Unity District and south of Mineral Creek. The schoolhouse was located at the southeast corner of the A.M.
