 The
Luella, Union Point and Paradise Districts were consolidated. One acre
of land that adjoined the Luella Cemetery was donated by Mr. Morris B.
Francis. The Union schoolhouse was moved using heavy wooden
runners and straight, round logs. A new one-room building was attached
to the Union school building. A public road ran in front of the Luella
Cemetery and School.
