Recollections of Luella School by James (Jim or Judge) Nelson Dickerson The
school was a one-room building with doors on the north and south sides
and windows on the east and west sides. The building and flooring were
made out of pine wood. There was a large blackboard which had written
across the top "The Idle Mind Is the Devil's Workshop". The school had
a large wood-burning heater and cracks in the floor provided plenty of
ventilation. by Clyde Hall "Preface" Luella School History Schools Susan Hawkins © 2024 IIf you find any of Grayson County TXGenWeb links inoperable, please send me a message. |
