 The Dallas Daily Herald Saturday, October 4, 1862 pg. 2 We learn that on Monday evening last about 2 o'clock, the school house at Kentuckytown, Grayson County, was blown down while the school was in session, killing one little girl, wounded another so severely that she died the same night, and five others were so badly hurt that they were not expected to recover.
